The Woman Behind the Hoop
For 25 years, I chased a version of myself that someone else designed. I was told to be thinner, quieter, more polished — to BE someone. I worked hard, smiled wide, and kept moving. But somewhere along the way, I forgot to ask the most important question: who am I when nobody's watching?
Then one afternoon, I picked up a $6 hula hoop. I wasn't trying to get fit. I wasn't trying to go viral. I was just trying to feel something again. And I did. That hoop became my therapy, my prayer, my daily declaration that I was still here — still alive — still worth showing up for.
What started as a personal practice became a movement. I've now brought the joy of hooping to over 250,000 kids across Los Angeles, toured 6 cities, and appeared on national television. But the mission has never been about the hoop — it's always been about helping people remember who they are.

The Mission
Inspiring America One Hoop at a Time
Eat, Pray, Hoop is Jean's vision for a weekly destination where real people find real inspiration. Through videos, podcasts, blogs, and recipes, Jean is building the show she always dreamed of — one that meets you exactly where you are and walks with you toward who you're becoming.
Jean's 20-year dream is to host her own weekly TV show that inspires America — and every episode, every post, every recipe is a step toward that vision.
What Jean Believes
Move Your Body
Movement is medicine. Whether it's a hoop, a walk, or a dance in your kitchen — your body was made to move and your spirit follows.
Feed Your Soul
Real food, real remedies, real nourishment. Jean believes what you put in your body is an act of self-love — not punishment.
Trust Your Journey
Your path doesn't have to look like anyone else's. Jean's story is proof that the detours are often the destination.
I spent 25 years being told to BE someone. Now I know — I already am. And so are you.
