The ACV Morning Reset

Every morning before anything else — 1 tablespoon of raw apple cider vinegar in 8 oz of warm water with a squeeze of lemon. This is my #1 tool for balancing pH, curbing sugar cravings, and waking up my digestion. It tastes like a punch in the face at first. Then you get addicted to how good you feel.

Jean's tip

Do this before coffee. Your body will thank you.

Jean's Alkalizing Green Drink
Detox & Alkalize

Jean's Alkalizing Green Drink

This is my secret weapon against sugar cravings and inflammation. Green powder or spinach blended with water, a pinch of cayenne pepper, and turmeric. It sounds wild. It works. When your body is alkaline, it doesn't crave sugar the same way — and that's a game changer for those of us with a sweet tooth.

Jean's tip

Add a pinch of black pepper to activate the turmeric — it increases absorption by 2000%.

Baking Soda pH Balancer
Alkaline Reset

Baking Soda pH Balancer

When I feel sluggish, bloated, or like I've been eating too much sugar (it happens!), I reach for this. Half a teaspoon of baking soda in a glass of water neutralizes acid in the body fast. It's not glamorous. It's not expensive. And it works.

Jean's tip

Don't do this right after a meal — wait at least an hour. And don't overdo it — once a day max.

Healthy Swaps for the Sweet Tooth

Yes, I love chocolate. Yes, I love candy. These are the recipes that save me — and they actually taste amazing.

The Guilt-Free Chocolate Fix
Chocolate Lover

The Guilt-Free Chocolate Fix

When the chocolate craving hits (and it WILL hit), reach for 1-2 squares of 70%+ dark chocolate. The higher the cacao percentage, the more antioxidants and the less sugar. Pair it with a handful of almonds and you've got a snack that satisfies without the crash.

Jean's tip

Keep a bar of 85% dark chocolate in the fridge. Cold chocolate feels more indulgent and you eat less of it.

Easy Frozen Fruit Cups with Raw Nuts
Sweet Tooth Swap

Easy Frozen Fruit Cups with Raw Nuts

This is my go-to when I want something sweet, cold, and satisfying without the sugar crash. Fill a muffin tin with your favorite fresh fruit, top with a handful of raw nuts, pour a little coconut water or juice over the top, and freeze. Pop them out and you've got the most refreshing little treat — and zero guilt.

Jean's tip

Use a silicone muffin tin so they pop out easily. Freeze for at least 4 hours. Store in a zip-lock bag for up to 2 weeks — if they last that long!

Frozen Banana Nice Cream
Ice Cream Swap

Frozen Banana Nice Cream

Two ingredients. Tastes like ice cream. I'm not joking. Frozen bananas blended until smooth become the creamiest, most satisfying dessert — and you can add cacao powder to make it chocolate. This is how I survive summer without eating a pint of Ben & Jerry's.

Jean's tip

The riper the banana before freezing, the sweeter your nice cream. Black-spotted bananas are perfect.

Healthy Swaps for the Chip Craving

Because sometimes you need something crunchy and salty — and chips don't have to win.

Crispy Kale Chips
Chip Replacement

Crispy Kale Chips

I know what you're thinking. But hear me out — when kale chips are done right, they are CRISPY, salty, and completely addictive. The trick is low and slow in the oven and making sure every leaf is completely dry before baking. These replaced my potato chip habit.

Jean's tip

Bake at 275°F for 20-25 minutes. Low temperature is the secret — high heat makes them bitter.

Hummus & Rainbow Veggie Dip
Snack Upgrade

Hummus & Rainbow Veggie Dip

When I want to crunch on something, I make this. A big bowl of hummus surrounded by colorful cut veggies — carrots, cucumber, bell pepper, celery. It's satisfying, it's beautiful, and it keeps me full for hours. This is my go-to when I'm watching TV and my hands want to be busy.

Jean's tip

Add a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of smoked paprika on top of the hummus. It looks gorgeous and tastes even better.
